I look forward to this potentially blowing up on them when a load of their voter base are much more likely to forget their ID. While their base are always more likely to vote, they do so more “passively” and consistently, whereas the younger vote is a lot more militant against certain issues and will consciously remember their ID

I think we should ask the polling clerks to produce their photo ID. If I have to prove to them who I am, then they should have to prove to me who they are.

So the big question must be whether the Stafford "Independents" have a proposed constitution and financial scheme that's compliant with the provisions set out in electoral law.

The photo ID isn't to prove who you are, it's to put a barrier up to certain types of people voting.

Owen Jones did a piece on the breakdown of voting fraud and how tiny the numbers were, as opposed to what the corrupt charlatans are claiming.
If you're going to impose a change, at least use genuine reasoning rather than lies!

My wife and daughter are registered for a postal vote and have each had a letter from "Maria Redfern" and "William 7aylor".
I am not registered for a postal vote and have not had such a "Don't let Labour spoil it!" letter.

I don't know about the deadlines but Postal Voting Packs have already been delivered and I thought the Council sent them all out at the same time.
