Will "Independent" mean "Conservative" locally just as it did thirty years ago ?
Did all those fourteen on the photo opportunity vote for Theo at the last general election ?

It's all the indies from stafford and stone joining up to present a more coherent front and no they are not tories (just well meaning ineffectual folk)

proactive

Enjoying a drop of red.
Aren't they all ex Tories?

A desperate attempt to keep hold of their seats perhaps?

There are a few names on there that I can't really imagine being in any danger come the election.

Conservatives - the party that dare not speak its name ?
Or even use 'its own colour'.

Or even use 'its own colour'.
Or trying to piss of the Unionists?

Funnily, up until the 1st World War, and beyond in some areas, the Conservatives used red, the Liberals blue, and when Labour came along they had to use a sickly green colour.

If you know anybody that has become of voting age within the last two years, it is possible that they will not have photo ID - follow this almost certainly not intentionally tortuous link -

- to find yourself, and it is almost certainly not designed in any sort of way, to be really quite obfuscating...

Demographically we are on a swell... have you ever been on the water when it swells behind you... the wave builds, you paddle in to it, you feel it taking you, you jump on the board...

I'm not even that old but i am too old - if you know someone new to this shizzle - get them registered, they need ^ photo ID

I've had to get the new photo ID (applied on the first day they became available), as I had no photo ID (no passport and my driving licence is one of the old paper ones). I tend to vote by post though, so I'm not sure how often I'll use it.
