Had difficulty locating exactly where they are talking about at first! Think I have now got it, and though whilst there is some cleared land at the back of the former police headquarters between Cope Street & Tipping St, the other larger site, twixt Martin St & Tipping St has many buildings that I imagine are listed; I think this zone also includes the council owned70's block of about 4 stories that was used by education, assume that would go, but all the other buildings would have to be retained. I look forward to seeing the ideas that are suggested for the under-used buildings and vacant land! I won't hold my breathe!
We desperately need an inspirational development, that can start to drag this town out of the mire into which it has sunk; unfortunately I won't be holding my breath!
Surely a County with a population of 1,125,000 should have a county town worthy of the name? I think the rate housing is being built & the subsequent population needs, such as employment & leisure, demand it!
