Examples of poor driving you have witnessed!

The cherry on top was that he was so busy trying to intimidate me, he got in the wrong lane again and had to swerve off on to the A518!

It doesn't seem to happen quite so much now, but people used to use the A34 lane, coming from Asda, to bypass the lights, then forcing their way back into the Wolverhampton Road lane once they were on the Island section. I know 'somebody' who once successfully forced an Express & Star van (who used to use this trick every day) to continue, much against his wishes, off down the Lichfield Road.

It's that time of year again, where the nights are drawing out and people seem to have no idea how to gauge the daylight! As well as being pulled out on, at junctions by 3 different people on the way home, I witnessed a girl (i make no excuse for that term) pulling out of the Asda turn onto Lammascotes in a small silver car, no lights on and a taped on wing mirror hanging off! This was all at about 5-25 tonight so the headlights on all other cars should've given people a clue to turn theirs on!

Sidelights required from sunset for the first half-hour, then headlights become necessary - http://astro.ukho.gov.uk/nao/miscellanea/birs2.html - has always seemed daft, but headlights weren't actually obligatory until ten to six today..

I apologise to the driver of the BMW that I pulled out on at Madford roundabout at around 8pm, as I left Lidl.

However, having your left indicator on until you entered the roundabout from Greyfriars lights and only then changing it to the right one didn't help - and, in the dark, I couldn't see that it was a BMW with it's in-built total priority system.

If I had known that it was a BMW, obviously, I would have stopped immediately, whichever indicator had been running - and tried to get photographic evidence of an indicator in use on a BMW.

To the prick in the flatbed who sat at 40mph in lane 2 of the link road and then swore at me when I undertook you and then 'challenged me to get out of my f***ing car' at the island, before driving off when I did and realised I'm actually quite a big chap - f*** you. Enjoy the chat with your boss later you ignorant, pathetic, pussyhole idiot.

I really hope I see him again on Monday, his boss was NOT happy.

Today, I'm apologising to the woman driving the red Fiesta that got a bit agitated about me flashing* her a few times as we left Wickes car park at around 1945 hours tonight.

I wonder if she turned her lights on at all before she got home?

* with my headlights.... :|

I've decided to start carrying a walking stick, not for personal use you understand but to shove in the spokes of the wheels of next cyclist I nearly get mowed down by whilst walking along the pavement, GET OFF THE ROAD THATS WHAT CYCLE PATHS ARE FOR!!!!! so if you're cycling along the pavement dressed in black with no lights you may want to wear some something comfy and padded to help break your fall.

I find I'm constantly having to keep looking over my shoulder to make sure there isn't a cyclist approaching on the pavement. Some come whizzing past within centimetres. (And one girl cycling and looking straight at me as though I had no right on the pavement , actually came full pelt into me on Radford Bank a few months ago. I'd already moved over into the hedge as far as I could, but she aimed straight for me and then looked gobsmacked as I had a go at her as I grabbed the handlebars to break the force as she hit me. Her mates were further up the bank, so probably showing off to them :mad: )
