Examples of poor driving you have witnessed!

I had a right corker the other day outside The Sun pub (or titanic now?) where traffic was cuing into the right hand lane to go around towards Wolverhampton road and all that...There was a guy in front of me in an Audi R6 who cued his at the back of the right hand lane. Lights were on green and I wanted to go towards ASDA way so I indicated and used the available space and some of the bus lane to get around so I wasn't sitting in the traffic on a green (there was loads of room for cars). Next thing you now this guy is racing up my arse end flashing his lights and trying to under take me past ASDA. He almost went into the back of a buss then tried to cut me up at the lights (which didn't work because I didn't let the idiot) then he carried on driving like a complete moron only to just drive past me outside the new river side shaking his fist while I waved at him politely. Idiot.

I find though driving around stafford that ppl will nudge up to one another to stop you pulling out and will not let you in, like they're going to get where they are going any quicker anyway! And twice now trying to get on the wolverhampton road opposite the one stop shop the worse culprits have been women on mobile phones with a child in the back! Disgrace!

On a junction where one queue of traffic merges with another, you should use the "zipper technique" where you let one person out, then the person behind you lets another person out. Then both lines are moving at the same pace.

Although... I find that if you let more than one person in, the next set of traffic lights will let the person you let in through, but then go to red for you. Just out of spite.

Are you sure it wasn't a BMW driver? Maybe he was driving an Audi courtesy car for the day.
Stereotyping here, but all drivers of German cars are as bad as each other. Except for drivers of old VWs, who are generally sitting on the kerb with their head in their hands waiting for the AA to turn up, and drivers of new VWs who are driving very carefully as they know that their kerb-sitting says could only be moments away.

If a driver of an old VW does actually happen to be moving they won't let you out of a junction purely because they need to maintain forward momentum.

If everything in life was as reliable as a Volkswagen... well, we'd all be screwed (and not in a good way).

Me and my sis own six between us, dating from 1970 to 2001. None of them are currently MOT worthy.

Yes, absolutely! But then the silly sods pull out in front of you, forgetting that 1976 brakes don't have ABS and all the rest of it.

Toble I'll have you know me and my 1983 VW MK1 Golf have never (yet!) had the misfortune of breaking down and kerb sitting!
Also I am a memeber of the RAC :P

I never let people out of Friars Terrace onto Wolverhampton Road as most (although I admit not all) are just rat running from Newport Road. The other annoying one is Queensville Avenue coming out onto Lichfield Road, I never let anyone out of there either - so many people stop to let rat runners out that it must be having knock on effects and having adverse impact on traffic flow.

I have a 1976 bay window which has so far never let me down either, which means I've never had to use my RAC membership!!

Have you noticed your renewal premium shoot up this year? I've been with them for many years and the annual increase has always been very modest and competitive with the AA, but this year -- bang! No claims either!

Just phone them up and tell them it is unreasonable and they will discount it. I did when my renewal came through last April.

Then I shall buy a hat just to doff it to you. My MK1 was brilliant until the engine fell out on the motorway. And my MK3 was a disaster from day one. What sort of idiot company puts a 2.0L diesel engine in small hatchback as the same time they put a 1.6L petrol job in a van? Madness!

I wouldn't either. Mainly as Friars Terrace doesn't join Wolverhampton Road. Clearly you mean Austin Friars, and clearly I am being pedantic.

Lol it fell out on the motorway? Impressive....
I once had a Rover Mini whos rear subframe snapped clean in 2 when going round a corner, I heard a loud crack and thought 'hmmm my steering’s rather light' as my rear wheels were only held on with luck

so you deliberately don't let people out just because they have chosen a different route to you? how bizarre :/
