Examples of poor driving you have witnessed!

I have a particular dislike of BMW X5s, on the whole they tend to be a vehicle of choice for bullies/ plonkers. Stereotyping I know, but think I've yet to find an exception to the rule. They are also utterly pointless as 4x4s as if you wanted any off road capability you would not buy an X5 as they're useless.

As regards fruits of labour, surely there are much better motors you could spend that sort of money on!!
This was at the Showground today.

I'm not sure if the third axle was driven, as they were eaten their lunch in it as I went past and it seemed a little intrusive to lie under it. It had gone when I came back to my rather less ostentatious vehicle.

+ 1 it being compulsory pass your motorbike test before you're allow to drive.

Had a couple close shaves on the M4 this week from people not checking there mirrors!

Black Punto tonight, about 22:10 on Wolverhampton Road. Came over the bridge on the wrong side of the road, overtook 2 cars then swerved to avoid an oncoming truck. R199***

Sounds like the same one I had last saturday early morning - silkmore lane - overtook me at speed the went round the roundabout the wrong way, lucky no other traffic on the road.

I’m hoping someone can help me out with this one......
If you come off the stone road roundabout, straight on at the next roundabout then down the dual carriageway, what lane should you be in heading to Eccleshall ?(3rd exit) I’d say outside lane and that’s the one I get in (I take that road on a daily basis) but I seem to be the only one doing this and often struggle to get over, have on several occasions found myself going right the way round in order to get home.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Idiot in black Ford Focus who decided to drive through one of the three rivers that had been created by the downpour this morning on the road between the A5 and Brewood at 30+ mph and drowned his engine stranding himself in the middle of said river. The rest of us, driving at about 5mph managed to get through no problem. I gave him a cheery wave as I passed

I tend to go for left hand lane here, might be behind a few cars heading for Eccy but easier than trying to cut in once on the roundabout.

This evenings total knob cheese award goes to the driver of the Black VW Transporter (VE04 something I think) twith roof rack hat turned into Rowley Grove at 16:55ish this evening after tailgating me at very close range around Queensway and onto Wolverhampton Road. Flashing your lights and blasting your horn won't make me go faster either, quite the opposite in fact , and when traffic lights go amber you should expect the car in front to stop.

Yet another one... Driving my van between Newport and Eccleshall this evening, doing somewhere between 45 and 50 mph. A bloke in a maroon Mercedes Vito, with kid in the passenger seat, decides to overtake straight into the path of an oncoming car. How they didn't crash, I don't know, but the whole moment just went into slow motion. Oncoming car must have crapped himself, heard him lean on the horn and must've braked quite heavily too. Vito bloke was clearly happy to risk killing his child for the sake of a minute or two on his journey.

There was a spectacular one today on the junction where the A34 meets the roundabout at joining it to the Lichfield road - a 3-door red KA stopped in the box junction when traffic had stopped and jumped out the car to let a passenger out of the back seat. the traffic started moving so a civic beeped him - he jumped back in his car and moved forward a bit to catch the traffic up again then got back out and started standing in the middle of the busy junction having a go at the civic driver. Meanwhile traffic moved again and a black car which wanted to go down the Lichfield road began dangerously moving into the Wolverhampton road lane then went to go back left into the Lichfield road lane. At which point the KA driver jumped back in his car and started straight off nearly running into the back of the black car as it rejoined the right lane.

Last night as I came off junction 13, a motorbike undertook me under the motorway bridge. I followed and it was obvious he was doing well over 60 as he went through Acton Gate and was proabably doing the same as he went over the railway bridge and up Moss Pit. Shame the camera van was not there !

Second bit of reckless motorbike riding I witnessed in a week. The other was on the M6 last Saturday. Due to the accident between 14 and 15 vehicles were moving over in to the outside lane. Hardly anyone decided to jump ahead. Except 3 motorbikes who actually decided to have a burn up some for 2 miles. They certainly put their foot down.

A couple of days ago I saw a couple of CSO's on bikes riding through South Street, having taken the One Way part the wrong way. Now, a minute or so later I would've been driving out of Peel Street. Would they have pulled me up if I didn't stop at the junction even though there was no need to, apart from avoiding law breakers?

There's a couple of these CSOs regularly ride up the Newport Road two abreast on their 'squad cycles' causing hold-ups wherever the go. Bloody idiots!

Another South Street moment tonight - a muppet in a silver peugot van on a mobile sailed straight through! The bog red sign with a white bar means NO ENTRY for a reason.
