Examples of poor driving you have witnessed!

I've been beeped at several times lately for having the audacity to indicate in advance, slow down, and turn off the main road. It was the slowing down they didn't like. I'm struggling to work out whether it was because they thought nobody should slow down ever or because, despite the indicating, they weren't expecting me to turn there. My indicators definitely work by the way.

I've noticed lately that a lot either don't indicate to turn at all, or start to indicate as they are half way round the corner into the turn.

I had a twat last night up my arse on the M5, flashing his lights for me to get out of the middle lane . I was doing nearly 70 mph in that correct middle lane, to get onto the M6 Northbound (wasn't going to speed up and get a speeding fine , or move over into the inside lane and end up going off back down the southbound !). He then goes tearing past horn blaring and flashing his hazards when he got back infront of me . How I wished I'd have been a copper in an unmarked car and have him for speeding ,or better still a machine gun fitted to the front of the car. The mood I was in I'd have used it  ( He must have just come from the baggies match and taking his anger out on me!)

I'm impressed how people remember number plates to post them on here when they get home, I don't seem able to manage that, mind you I took something out of the oven earlier to add something else than opened the fridge and nearly put it in there

Obviously you should shun the indicators and slowing down, and just hand-brake turn it in to the junction.

Massive driving skills displayed by the numpty in the silver Fiesta who followed me across Highfield the other night. Not only did they have their lights on high beam all the time, but when I turned into my road, pulled over and popped the hazards on waiting for them to pass (so i could pull out and reverse up the driveway), they pulled up about a foot from the back of the car.
When I got out and told them what I was going to do, they said I'd have to move as they didn't know how to reverse.

So... 88 year old dodderer? 17 year dozy bint?
Nope it was a bald guy in his thirties who looked like his was built more substantially than the car.

So I drove round the block.

people regularly seem utterly thrown by the idea that I might want to reverse into my own drive. They seem even more thrown by the idea that it might actually be quicker for them to leave me enough space to do it, and just wait, then it is to get right up my arse and hope for a break in oncoming traffic.

And your patronising drivel is exactly what I expect from you.

FFS, how difficult is it for you to understand that i am not a road hog. This thread is for bad driving examples, and to me slamming on your brakes and reducing your speed to 25 mph ina 60 zone everytime someone drives towards you with their lights on is bad driving and very dangerous. You disagree, but I don't give a rats tw*t to be fair given your misinformed perceptions. How you can comment on my driving having never witnessed it sums you up totally.

My aggressive tone was in response to Carole's misinformed reply to my post which is full of inaccurate assumptions about my driving.

Your reply was nothing less than I expected.

However I repeat that just because the limit is 60mph does not mean a person has to drive at that speed just to suit the road hog behind.

A very slow driver is someone driving at 10mph or 15mph.

40mph is perfectly reasonable at night so I stand by my comments that you appear to be an impatient driver.

Well, I must say, I have thoroughly enjoyed the 'virtual' punch-up between Carole and Koyote49. Can we have more of it?! On this occasion, I really have to say that I agree with Carole. It is very, very intimidating, frustrating, annoying and unnecessary to be in front of an impatient driver! Nothing personal, Koyote, and I don't believe Carole was being personal to you, just making a very sound point)s),

Sadly some people in Stafford have not found this device.

For the first time in my life today, I actually contemplated violent road rage at the utter knobend who decided they wanted to park outside the row of shops on Weston Road, but there were no spaces, so they indicated left and stopped in the middle of the road, preventing all movement of outbound traffic at rush hour. What the hell must be going through these people's stupid stupid heads?
