There is a story that wanders round Penkridge that for a short while in the 1980s he lived in the Railway Inn and that Sharron ran it. He also frequented the Reform Tavern.

The Railway was run by Tjebbe Roestenberg younger brother of Ron. Tjebbe lived there with Thelma, Ozzy's ex wife and their kids. He was often seen picking the kids up in his white Rolls Royce.
