This advert is possibly the most impressive i've ever seen. Almost tempted to go and buy a sony bravia if i had a spare £2000!

Yeah it's brilliant isn't it! I thought it was fake till I watched the making of and all the crew were covered in paint afterwards. Hehe.

The first one with the coloured balls in San francisco was good but this one's even better. Apparently it took 6 days to clean up all the paint. Those flats are in glasgow so i don't understand why they didn't just leave it on to brighten the place up a bit! I still don't know how they filmed it without getting paint on the camera lenses!

:q:

If it had been up to me I'd have left it on.

And about the lenses, that's a good point. Hmm. Maybe they filmed it far away and did a lot of zooming (techincal term?). With the way the ads are progressing, I wonder what the next one will be! Maybe some kind of food explosion around the Houses of Parliament. Or HP sauce maybe. I'll have to think about that.

I thought about the distance zoom ting but they filmed inside the flats and stairwells too. Just damn clever people i guess!

Liking the hp idea. What about filling the new wembley with smarties when it's (finally) finished! that would be cool

Ohhhh that's a much better idea than mine, and in keeping with the colour thing. Although the bastards have taken out the blue ones which are the only ones worth eating. M&Ms might work.

Just because I'm the oh so proud Big Sister, thought I'd show you my bro, he's the one in the helmet. Paintballer for Cannock Cobra's . A total geek when it comes to this stuff, his latest gun cost him, sorry my Dad, a grand but competing in Europe next year, now he won't play with us amatuers (scoff!) but any takers on a STAFFORD FORUM PAINTBALL TEAM? Sure he'll be willing for on the spot tips and techniques.
He marshalls at Project Paintball, mentioned earlier by Andreas Rex and would sort us a Saturday afternoon game. You know you want to..

Loads of guys at work are into paintball and keep organising trips. To be honest though it has never appealed to me after I saw what happened to PJ in Byker Grove! Running around in this weather :o and getting splattered in paint and paying £50-£60 for the privilege isn't sounding that appealing although if everyone else is up for it i'd give it a go i guess.

PROJECT PAINTBALL FIREWORKS DISPLAY UPDATE:

Having spoken to a couple of people in the know last night, it seems that the fireworks will be a 20min onslaught, and will start at 7. This means that any slightly late comers may be disappointed, but also that we can easily make it back to the Ford to go to the Rugby Club or wherever. There's quite a lot of enthusiasm for eating hotdogs and throwing up on waltzers....

I reckon it's actually better when it's cold, as you get mighty sweaty legging it around in a boiler suit. We went when it was snowing when i was about 14, and it was much better than the other times i've been!

I went in the summer and you fog up and run blind, though that's likely in any weather I suppose. My eyes were shut quite alot of the time now I think of it.

what was that nutter called who co-ordinated the whole thing? that ex-marine fella? he seemed to enjoy running around shouting at young boys quite a lot..
