On Friday when I arrived home there were 3 messages on my telephone, all of them were blank with no message, around an hour later the telephone rang again, when I answered it there was no one there. On the Saturday and Sunday the same happened again, no one answered the call.
Tonight the telephone went again, my wife answered it, this time someone said they were from the telephone preference service, they wanted to know if we had received any suspicious telephone calls. My wife confirmed that we had, then the person asked my wife for our banking details so that they could confirm it was our account. My wife told them she did not know them as they were at our workplace. The caller then passed over to another person who asked for a credit card number. My wife told him where to go.
