It seems only apt that my first post on the shiny new T1000 version of the forum should be identical to my first ever post. The front garden needs redecorating. An atomic bomb dropping on it would be an improvement. The neighbours sneer and tut as they walk past and I am afraid to leave the house for fear of stoning.

The job includes weeding, rebordering flower beds, hedge trimming and windfall clearance. If you are someone or know someone who is experienced at this and is not too expensive please let me know.

Thank you for the offer. Neon Jay has been around today to sort out the mess. I will keep you in mind for future projects.

Just want to say a huge thank you to Jay for doing a great job on the front garden. Highly recommended. I can now leave the house without fear of persecution. The neighbours smile instead of scowl when they walk past now.

Can anyone recommend a good gardener/landscaper? i'm looking to have some old decking taken away and some patio layed, also need some aggregate tidied up as the edge is dropping away. Also advise on pants for a south facing garden. Someone has recommended fenwood fencing, does anyone have experience of them or recommend someone else?

I've taken to using Adam at The Eden Company on 01785 254547. He's not the cheapest to be fair but seems a pretty genuine guy who takes pride in what he does. Not just a fella who's bought himself a pickup and decided he's a gardener.

John Watson is pretty good, well established family business. Can't remember his number offhand but he does advertise in the local rag.
