Despite feeling like death warmed up, yiday I helped the carer to remove a tree stump and about 5 bushes from the front garden. Sadly we have nowhere to rehome them all, so we've taken as many cuttings as we can in the meantime. There's a few more to dig out yet, there ones have homes to go to, but the most of the work is done.

It's amazing what the carer will do when I threaten to pay someone to do it for us.....

I was going to suggest that you should pay him half what you would have been prepared to spend...

...but, he would only buy loads of air fryers.

Today, while helping the carer in the garden, I picked up a bunch of geraniums that had a HUGE blonde spider in it....tried to get a photo, but it hid under the bin lid before i could.

It was a really blonde/pale yellow spider, big completely round body with a paler pattern on its back (a bit like a false widow), and thick, short legs . Almost the UK one's ove found have elongated bodies, and are beige, thus was defiantly blonde like light caramel...any ideas any one?

I cleared my broad beans last week, there were a few seeds which I’d left in a pile and forgot to pick back up again, they’re starting to sprout already.

Will they survive if I try to over winter them. Has anyone had success with this?

It is doable, especially if you have greenhouse space...

They don't usually have these extra pods around the seed head. This one has grown by itself from the parent poppy & is growing I the middle of our patio, I can't get it out, & don't want to kill it, but the seed pods are weird.

Looking round my works premises, we are in shocking need of updating our indoor plants. Can anyone recommend a garden centre, or anywhere else that has a decent selection of flowering indoor plants to brighten up the winter?

Garden Centres at Brocton & Pillaton, but not sure of their indoor plant ranges. Dobbies & the one whose name I can't remember at Gailey as well.
