The County Council has details of the works, with a map of the diversion route, here: https://www.staffordshire.gov.uk/Hi...nd-probation-service-building-demolition.aspx

Someone will be along to help you shortly, I suspect.

I did look at the forest of signs at the Old Post Office roundabout the other day and think that you might have to get out of the car with a notebook to be sure of what you can, can't, must and mustn't do...

I think you are allowed to get to that car park from Mill Bank/Mill Street direction and the bus lane camera is not active at the moment.

There are signs by Nationwide saying access to car park only towards South Walls.

Spot on. You then exit the car park and leave in the usual way.
