Historic England are asking us to upload pictures of ghost signs to their website.

Google Maps as far back as 2009 shows a while box, similar to a metre box, just underneath the Mill Street sign. Otherwise, I haven't a clue. Sorry x

That was a sign for the Soup Kitchen, I think. It was attached to the wall, rather than painted onto it.
Another Past Track picture from 1970 shows the whole wall painted over then.
