There's some excellent paranoia in the comments.tek-monkey said:
"The picture VERY CLEARLY showed my bed. "
Good Lord, not your bed, surely! Sarah, unless you happened to be sprawled on your bed at the time, lathering yourself up with chocolate sauce, or whatever your preference is, then there's not much I'll see that I couldn't also see in a furniture catalogue, or on the Ikea website.
Apart from wheelie bins, there's nothing that gets people on this site foaming at the mouth more than Google Street View. It honestly makes me wonder what you're all so worried about people seeing!
PS. For the hoards of burglars poring the photo of my house online, the photo's years out of date. I've had a shark infested moat installed since that was taken.

Come on, who is it?"Well, now I can just sit back and wait to be burgled! Why doesn't someone stop this!"

"Eh? How exactly?"

People you'd have to stab said:I don't like the idea of people seeing the layout of my home so clearly. All those that say burglary hasn't increased must be living on cloud cuckoo land,. This should never have been allowed.
All you sados who say it makes it easier to plan your routes should have concentrated on your geography lessons and learnt how to read maps, plan routes, etc. You sound as if no one has ever planned a journed before google ever came along - so sad and stupid - and plain lazy.

" 'People can check out a restaurant before arriving, make travel plans, arrange meeting points, get a helping hand with geography homework, or just get to know their town better,' a Google spokesman said. "
While roving thieves can decide where it'll be most worthwhile to break into, before they go out robbing.

Good job I didnt see it, I would have thrown a brick at the car, no one asked me if I wanted my house splashed all over the Internet, so much for Data Protection, and what about all the kids who play in my street are they photographed as well.? this is a buglers dream come true.
Typical Nu Labour, snooping and spying on all of us, Im never using google again, hope they go bust, there are plenty of search engines out there that dont help NU Labour spy on us and our children

Ask Google to remove as many photos of the UK as possible - if you ask, they have to remove the photo.
