Afternoon all,

After years of living in Stafford and having many friends visit many times, i'm running out of things to do. So I thought i'd start a thread of all of the great events that happen throughout the year that are recommended... So come on peeps, what events within, say an hour and a half's drive do you go to every year or have been to and thought was really good?

I'll start with World Heritage Week at Iron Bridge - we go every year and its great for stalls, music, displays, relaxing with a beer. Have taken many friends here and they all love it.

Classic Car Show at the Castle - always a good family day out!

There are some lovely nature centers on Cannock Chase that have open days!

Turning on of the Xmas lights is always a good show!

I suppose not... anything that I should stick in the diary really so when planning to have people up, I can go "oh yeah and we can do this while you're here......"

I just didn't want people suggesting a weekly comedy night at Joe Bloggs pub if you get my drift...
