I think it's better in a bigger space like that. In the back garden it gets a bit much, Alvin is a bit rough. No damage done but she does come over to me to get out of the way. Plus Alvin tends to get to the thrown toys first.
She can certainly give him a good run for his money out in the open :)

The first trip to the field she was ahead, he did yelp in pain at one point though (he's not done that since). The second time he was easily keeping up and going past her. He is faster but she runs about 5 times as long. It's hard to tire her out. She has age on her side too. Alvin was 5 on Saturday.

I think I should mention the once a month meetup at Marquis Drive, near the cafe. The next one is Sunday, walk starts about 11am, people begin gathering from 10.30 onwards.

There's a Twitter as well: https://twitter.com/ChasePointies

An update, her tests came back with anti-body levels being high. Tomorrow I start her treatment, the best drug which unfortunately has to be injected, although not into a vein luckily. Kidneys seem pretty normal luckily, so she should recover and then hopefully the parasite will stay dormant.

Today would have been Ginny's last jab but there's one dose left and as I missed doing one due to her not being able to keep still the vet will do it tomorrow. She's also got anti-biotics and another flea treatment as well. The fleas seem to love her, they don't touch my greyhound for some reason.

Tis the Great Global Greyhound Walk on Sun 24th again. I will try to get some videos and photos. Last year I was naughty and did two but this year I'll just do the one at Burton on Trent. There's one at Lichfield Beacon Park but I did a walk there today.

Ginny the galgo keeps having small health issues. A recent one clearly as a result of her biopsies, she got a skin infection but anti-biotics have cleared it up luckily. She has tests next month to see what her anti-body level is like and if she can come off the allopurinol tablets.

Hope tests go well. Hubby is on Allopurinol ( amongst all his heart meds, the Allopurinol is to prevent his gout which he used to get)
