It's been a day of quiet celebrations - for the first time since records began there has been some rain on this date at my location - just a few short, light showers, but it is normally a reliably dry day.
I did make sure that the cake would be of a transportable size, so that I could take a picture of it where the journey started, a few hundred yards away - from the point of initial entry (or exit) to the viewpoint of the camera, I have progressed at a little over a foot a year, although the actual total route has been rather more circuitous.
I then returned, to a small party in the back garden - just a few select locals.
