The Virgin media website on my laptop is now just going to a white sceen with loads of text, yet when I go into the same website on my phone it works ok. So I must have done something that I shouldn't on the laptop.

Tried turning it off and back on again...still the same . Any ideas what I can do to get it back to normal please? (other websites are working ok on the laptop)

There website is being very slow so it could be that your browser didnt finish loading the full website and nothing you have done.

I'm with Virgin too, Firefox for general browsing, Chrome
for on line games, Opera for that place where the films are (TPB),
Tor browser for dodgy stuff, (did I say that aloud?)

I think it is a conflic with Pepper Flash in Chrome you could try disabling it then see if it works, just like you cant watch Sky Go on a chromebook althoughh i think that might be because of Silverlight.

The Sky Go issue is because of Silverlight not being supported by Chrome any longer.

Thanks folks :)

Was working fine on Chrome until halfway through yesterday. Just tried it again on Chrome and still got that same full white page of text up.

Got into it on Firefox though, so looks like using that on the laptop to see the latest cock-ups on my Virgin account.
