Where is it advertised for sale?
"the pubs will be sold at prices ranging from £75,000 and £600,000. However, the majority of the pubs for sale will be priced between £200,000 and £400,000" if you're interested.

Went into Hogarths for the very first time a couple of weeks ago early Saturday evening. Hubby liked it in there , probably because he had a couple of good pints , but I didn't feel comfortable in the place.
(Didn't fill me with confidence seeing the cops going in and out as we arrived , then their cop car staying parked up outside the doors for ages )

The last time I went in there I wanted to buy a shirt from Burtons, and I came out with a phone !!!

So now you're telling me if I'm in Stafford again and I go to get new phone I'll come out pizzed as a newt. !!

(An expression I've never really understood coz I've never seen a pizzed up newt.):cool:

It's a Scottish expression developed after the habit of using newts to test the strength of whisky

Or a reference to how easy it was to get young officers drunk.

Probably a few other potential origins, too.
