I had a lovely picture of my brothers posh house done for christmas, he was very happy with it, so thanks to @homes and lines :)
Thanks kyoto, it was a pleasure illustrating such a lovely home.
Though, I was a little jealous of such a great place.

I'd post a pic, but didn't want to bore the pants of those here, not being a Stafford home/ building.

It can be seen on my FaceBook, Twitter and Instagram for those that are curious.
Yaxley!

Hi,

It's been a while since i've posted, though I've been on and read other threads.

I'll post a Stafford building illustration of mine, soon.

In the mean time, here's another shameless plug featuring the homesandlines process. Of course, you can ask me any questions here or/and see my website, for more detail.

So, and to take a break from illustrating buildings up and down the country, here's a Stafford building i really like.

I know the Shrewsbury Arms is on the bottom floor, but anyone know what is on the other floors? Units/offices/studio space?

I'd imagine Black Country Ales owns the whole building, so more likely the rooms to be full of junk, or better still, lots of booze!

Nice drawing bytheway.
BCA's Bird in Hand other side of town, next?

Snow is falling here in Stafford.

So it's time for the snowy h&l logo to make an appearance.

I haven't a sledge, snow shovel nor snow shoes, so I shall be spending all of Sunday at h&l studio, which luckily is also home, hooray.

All of 2017's commissions have been illustrated, scanned, coloured, framed and posted.

I've had chance to continue through my list of lovely Stafford buildings to illustrate, so here is The Lamb Inn on Chell Road and Broad Eye.
Colouring will have to wait til 2018.

Merry Christmas to you and here's to a winderful 2018!

There looks to be a pattern emerging.

There isn't honest, just a run of Stafford pub illustrations at the moment.

I hope you agree, it's a nice building.

I get that to, and I've seen it on other sites that were ok as far as I can tell.
I looked in google to see if I could turn something off that was checking sites but no luck.

edit... If I go to advanced it lets me carry on to the site, I shall investigate further!

I've had it on a few lately - including Facebook and other "big boys", even the Google search page - probably some sort of certificate incompatibility?

Trouble is that when i have access to the 'tubes' with a thing with a proper keyboard on it, it's a 'work' computer these days.

Not being Damien Green, i can't just say 'it weren't me, guv' if i overstep any kind of mark - i'd drop both me and anyone else on it in the brown stuff in the blink of an eye.

Bit too late now anyway.

At least Green is in the same boat, which is some comfort.

Hi Withnail (dude!)
I've been aware of this for a little while, updating and refreshing my website is very much on the cards, for 2018.

I had some fantastic advice and opinions from @Andreas Rex which I have yet to implement.

Commissons via DMs through social media took over but at the same time, I'm fully aware of how bad it looks to have a pain-to-get-to/pain-to-use website!

Plus, doodling and illustrating buildings is way more fun that the techy stuff, opps.

I appreciate the heads-up and thank you for letting me know. Also, apologies for the late reply dude.

Now where did I put my website tech head...!

Update on homesandlines.co.uk, my website is in progress, hopefully it's only that the SSL certificate was not in place, that caused potential visitors to be blocked or question its trustworthiness.
