How Was 2022 For You?

Not bad? It's flown past tbh, basically watching Eric grow. So glad I work from home, pay is crap (relatively) but I'm not sure the 10k more I could get in an office is worth the long days away and extra accountability - I'm free to wander off as I see fit as long as I get stuff done.

Brilliant and a complete change for us.

After me being born & bred in Stafford for 66 years, got wed & lived in same house in Stafford for over 40 years....
Finally did something we never thought we'd do and made the move to Worcester which we love .
With parents no longer alive , decided to move closer to son as he came for uni & stayed.
Loving it!

Lost my pet bird of 12.5 years which hit me harder than I expected so that will always be the big negative hanging over 2022 but, besides that, it was a good year. Had lots of freelance work, possibly the most I've had since going self-employed 13 years ago and went to lots of gigs.

This year I have had 6 different jobs (some at the same time!)

I need to give less of a feck about work but I can't help taking on extra clubs and classes for the best of the students.

I need to prioritise my homelife and not take on too much!

Hopefully 2022 will be more settled!

2022 was a lot.

I found more focus and direction and clarity.

I went back to school.

I grew some cracking cucumbers and peppers.

I didn’t quit my job…..I did come close a couple of times!

I let go of two people in my life (one family one friend) who weren’t good for me to be around, that was tough but it feels good to have created some distance there.
