Htc and galaxy gio mobile not charging

Any suggestions welcomed , neither phone charging despite new batteries put in . It could. Be the charging port , any one know of anyone who can do a local repair or advice

If you don't get any joy on this forum you could try posting on moneysavingexpert.com
They have a forum called Techie or a forum for mobile phones. I've often found it very good at troubleshooting.
