<Sigh>

And all you spineless pansey do-gooders STILL argue against forced abortion and child licencing.... idiots, all idiots.
blame blame blame,

blame the parents blame the grandparents blame anyone....
I'd be interested in what you think is the problem. I do see your point about blame blame blame but kids will only respond to their immediate environment, and this is almost always going to be the environment provided by the parents. So who do you blame? The parents who don’t care? The society which allows ANYONE to procreate regardless of their social standing, level of education, their ability to actually be a parent and to provide a loving and stable upbringing for their child, who never asked to be born in the first place.

I in no way excuse the children, they should know right from wrong and act upon that and frankly I’d love to see them locked up forever, as much as an example as a punishment. And as for the parents... name and shame!

British society is doomed, back to the master plan – earn as much money here as I can and then take it to another country with me before having absolutely nothing to do with the UK ever again, except perhaps to visit family and friends.
some fair commentary, however if i was furnished with all the answers i probably would be elsewhere by now. Many many years ago i held a few similar views until someone pointed out that the 4 cornerstones of our society are/were Family, School, Church and Community from where i'm sat these may still be amongst us but not so influential or nurturing. The learned fellow then asked if i was so concerned about the perilous state of society WTF was i going to do about it?..... That was over 35yrs ago..............

This country that you're going to ( Canada? ), do they stop dodgy people breeding? Just wondering why it is a better place?
Maybe Australia as in the early 70s 'Bondi Beach' which was screened as a BBC2 'trade test transmission' made the place seem idylic, canna say the same for 'Algerian Pipeline'....

3 years for helping terminally ill dad to die

had to say it, its the mail! Regardless, feel sorry for him. Suppose he could have got his dad into private care perhaps, to minimise risk to others? Or took him to North Staffs, but that would have been a cruel death.
This man was certainly put into a difficult situation by being asked by his father to bring in the weapon. One of the things that bugs me about this is the fact the son seems to be trying to wriggle out of it by saying he though the gun was decommisioned, if that was so why did he bring 19 rounds of live ammo for it? And why onto a ward in a hospital?

The fathers condition wasnt so bad he was terribly debilitated, he was able to draw the curtains round his bed. If suicide was on his mind why did he not ask to go home? Cancer services are such these days they move heaven and earth to get you home. SO why didn the persue this avenue and do the dirty deed himself at home without involving his son. I am sure he would of been made aware of this possibility. BOth men involved here i am sure would of been educated enough that they would of been able to voice their opinion to go home.

Think i have made it known on here that i am in favour of assisted suicide, but this is something different and i dont feel in anyway sorry for the man convicted.

I'm all for assisted suicide too with the correct regulation and propper practice. The reason its still illegal is because the government knows it cannot administer something as simple as driving licences or justice properly so it just won't risk killing people. Its quite sad that because of the government's inability to do anything right the public have to go through things like this.

I feel sorry for the man convicted that he lost his father but bringing a loaded gun into a hospital ward is just downright stupidity.

Giant rat found in 'lost volcano'

A new species of giant rat has been discovered deep in the jungle of Papua New Guinea.
The rat, which has no fear of humans, measures 82cm long, placing it among the largest species of rat known anywhere in the world.

30% of teachers think a kids name indictaes if they'll misbehave.

Absolutely shocking idea, until you read further:

NAUGHTIEST NAMES
Callum
Connor
Jack
Daniel
Brandon
Charlie
Chelsea
Courtney
Chardonnay
Aleisha
Casey
Crystal
Now at the risk of being flamed for enforcing class division, I have to say a number of these names seem a tad chavvy. Perhaps they could just say that kids who say 'innit' are more likely to misbehave?

haha they should abandon uniform and then all the kids who arrive in nike/addidas etc. from head to toe get sectioned off to a different area on arrival. That and young boys with ear studs.... urgh!

Had five of those on my list, other names that have dropped out of my top ten but could make an appearance again are Scott and Ryan. You have been warned.

I don't name them. Who'd call their child Chardonnay anyway? That's setting them up for a lifetime of woe.

I love all 'my' kids whatever their names and behaviour issues. The parents, well that's another matter...

As luck would have it, I happened to call into Flintshire County Council today and opted for a baked potato in their canteen. They seemed a bit put out when I refused the penis of butter option.
