Stafford will be starring on national television this Thursday, after being named as one of the best places to live in the country....The town will be featured on Channel Five's prime-time 'Property List' as one of the best value places to live in the UK. :uk:
i'm watching this right now, and we still haven't been mentioned.. which means either we've been dropped from the program, or we're in the top 4!

I wanted to record it on EyeTV, but I couldn't get Channel 5 for some reason. :(

Still, great publicity for the town.

£25m plans for Tipping Street car park

edit: I just had a look at this on the council's website, and there's this artist's impression of the proposed square within the development. It's nice to see they've made it as accurate as possible, with another bloody coffee shop :grr:

One of Stafford's oldest buildings is set to be used for civil marriages, SBC are planning to allow civil ceremonies to be held at the Ancient High House, maybe someone should let Rich Upsetter and soon to be Mrs Upsetter know!!

Bah, still never seen one while up there :(
Oooh I have, many years ago whilst playing Hide and Seek near the common, I had been 'hiding' for quite some time when I looked down and one was curled up sleeping right by my feet :shivermetimbers:

I was told there are a lot of these blighters about up on the Chase at the moment and not to take the pooch up there for a walk.

If mine spotted one she'd probably try to play with it. Watch your doggies!
