Is there anyone in Stafford who repairs fridges?

It's freezing everything at the bottom, but too warm at the top!

A quick google throws up loads of appliance shops who offer repairs, but they all seem to specify Washing Machines/Ovens/Microwaves, TVs etc, without mentioning fridges....

Yeah - a bit grubby in places, but no sign of any splits or breaks. Given the performance started declining just after our house move, my suspicion is that somehow the cooling element at the back is only half on.

Empty it, roll it over 360 degrees sideways, leave it overnight and then see what happens.
I read some similar advice on FacePants recently, upend the fridge (stand it on its head) for 24 hrs - something to do with the gasses.........I thought it was a joke!

Vapour-locks do happen, especially in transit - it's matter of trying to redistribute the liquid into the right zones. Worth a try and not too much of a problem to accommodate the contents during this sort of weather. I would propose the roll-it-over-sideways method followed by standing for an hour or two before it's switched back on.

Just plugged it back in after giving it a tip onto its' side then top earlier - will let you know how it goes.

Try Grove Appliances - he recovered a software problem on an oven that I thought was dead the other day...
