My bro really needs a better job, but can't bring himself to work there. When someone tells you they can only just afford £20 a week can you happily sell them a sofa that is overpriced by 250%?

I don't use them, but are they really that different to the Radio Rentals business model from years ago? At least you will own the stuff from Brighthouse (eventually)

Had my first (crap) printer from Radio Rentals as I simply did not have the cash back in those days to buy outright.

Surely Brighthouse is workable for some people, just as long as they don't decide to kit out the entire house with their stuff?

You know what...until you wrote that I'd never even considered the 'rentals' bit of 'Radio Rentals'!

Ok....how do I now quote Gramaisc in the same post?!!

In the '60s, tellies were dead expensive and very unreliable. Renting one gave you a predictable expenditure. It was virtually breakdown insurance - for things that really would break down.

Though Cynthia, 26. 48kg, 165cm from Ho Chi Min who's currently gazing at me from the bottom of the screen seems to think it's all good.

I'm disappointed she did not wink at me, I would have taken her to Brighthouse for our first date.

(See how I brought that back on topic?)

Phew I thought it was using google advert profiling thingy to set me up with a new wife which was weird as I surely have enough on my plate with the current wife and havent been online browsing for a new one! Nice to know we are all seeing the same thing! Personally I'm going for Thitirat as she has a bit more meat on her. :heyhey:

I really haven't seen it because I'm running adblock with firefox, I thought Andreas was joking.

I bet Brighthouse don't install adblock on their combined TV PC's.

Don't forget to let the current Mrs GSG 'accidentally' see you browsing now and then - keeps them on their toes.

I have a Chinese dictionary that you can borrow and leave just visible on a couple of occasions..

Click reply to quote someone, then compose your reply as I am doing now. Once you have replied to that quote, simply scroll to the next message you want to quote and click Reply on that one. It will automatically appear in the reply box after everything you have just typed:

Copy what you've done and add it when you've quoted the other one ..

So the above is unnecessary. :)

Hmm.....that's a bit less convenient than before.

Surely it's more convenient than before?? On the old Forum, you had to click Quote, copy the text, go back, click Quote on the next person, paste the quote in that you had just copied, then enter your replies, making sure they were in the right place and that you hadn't missed out a quote tag or anything!

Here, the procedure is just:

1) Click Reply
2) Type response
3) Click Reply on next message you want to include
4) Type response
5) Repeat steps 3 & 4 until you are finished
6) Click Post Reply button

The old way only feels more convenient because you were used to doing it for so many years!

Ooh, that is better - I didn't realise that you could do that..

I may have to sell my soul and see if they'll take me... I'll do almost anything me. Just so unqualified and probably a liability, so I keep getting told at least.
