Okay, so now im getting desperate, 60+ jobs applied for since october and i have had about 10 replies (all rejections except 1, where i got an offer and was told i would be rung, but never was, but thats a different story)
I really need the money with birthdays and other events coming up.
so i was wondering if anyone knew if there are ANY part time jobs going in the stafford area, i don't mind what it is doing, i will even shovel **** if it means some money!

I also can only use public transport!

Thanks

Harry

Worston Mill had a sign up when I went to Sunday lunch on the 8th wanting kitchen and waiting staff. Not an ideal location for a young person who probably doesn't have transport though.

That isn't suitable unfortunately, thanks for looking though :)
Think it should be worth to note also im not 18 till june so most pub/restaurant jobs are out of the question due to licensing laws

You only need to be 18 to serve alcohol, you dont need to be 18 to be a pot washer in the kitchen or waiting on staff! I spent much of my adolescence working in cafes, restaurants, bars to make money. Its usually good fun and ok money as long as you're prepared to work hard :)

I did a paper round for 3 years and occasionally do a few days with my dads landscaping company, so i'm not a stranger to hard work :D

What would you like to do?
I don't mind Paul, i've had experience in looking after children with special needs so ideally i'd like something in that area, but beggars can't be choosers :D

Have you tried McDonalds, from what I here they're always on the look out, my first job was there many years ago, I only worked there for a few months while I was at college and I was applying for other jobs all the time. You may find once you have a bit of experience behind you other jobs will come easier.

Yeah you could try the takeaways, supermarkets or cafes - theres enough of them! Have you thought of looking a bit further than stafford - theres quite a few jobs advertised around west bromwich - one train to wolves and change takes half an hour

I know for a fact that bradley garden centre is looking for someone to work in their pet centre (qualifications not essential there pretty desperate) good hours, reasonably pay, poop-a-scooping rabbits easy peasy!
Homebase is always looking, they keep you on file in case anything comes up, they offered my auntie a job recently but she had already found something, so I know there looking.
That awful brighthouse place always has job signs in the window, so if you don’t have any morals of a conscience there are jobs there!

Pound stretcher had a vacancy only a few hours a week though - on Queensville - Alton Towers are recruiting now look at their website. Good luck! I need a bit of gardening doing just a couple of hours though.

The new Tesco on the A34 doesn't look like it's too far from opening - maybe get a foot in the door, and the Dunelm move might generate an opening, too.
