Good to see the building being bought back to use....

Coming soon, The Judge and Jury "club", seen them working in it today, don't think it'll take long to open.

Interestingly, it's applied to have live music, and music in general both outside and in.

This venue is to become the Judge and Jury, in Earl Street, Stafford
A new sports bar and restaurant is opening in a town centre.

New owners have snapped up the former Hogs Head which is currently being refurbished in Earl Street, Stafford.

It is opposite Stafford Crown Court - and will be renamed the Judge and Jury.

Now the venue is recruiting 10 members of staff before it officially opens early next month.

The same company already operates the Bridgewood House hotel in the town.

This links to what I’ve said previously about online reviews. I’m always surprised at the number of first time reviewers that manage to find trip adviser etc to post their first review about a place but can never manage to find the site to check the reviews before booking.
Not that I know anything about the place in question, it could very well be a shitehole.

I remember this place being spacious inside when it was The Hogshead, not sure if changed after that. At least social distancing may work better than some places, although it's not the best time to opening
