King Charles lll.

Glam

Mad Cat Woman
Phillip came to me today,
and said it was time to go.
I looked at him and smiled,
as i whispered that "I know"

I then turned and looked behind me,
and seen I was asleep.
All my Family were around me,
and I could hear them weep.

I gently touched each shoulder,
with Phillip by my side.
Then I turned away and walked,
with My Angel guide.

Phillip held my hand,
as he lead the way,
to a world where King's and Queens,
are Monarch's every day.

I was given a crown to wear
or a Halo known by some.
The difference is up here,
they are worn by everyone.

I felt a sense of peace,
my reign had seen its end.
70 years I had served my Country,
as the peoples friend.

Thank you for the years,
for all your time and love.
Now I am one of two again,
in our Palace up above.

Rest in peace to our Queen
❤️

Strange moment in the pub with football TV screens showing man United match just. Minutes silence announced on the telly for the crowd and the whole pub was suddenly silent as well for that minute.

I’ve heard apparently we’ve got a new PM & there’s some sort of energy/cost of living crisis & some strikes.
Not sure if it’s true coz it’s not getting much mention on news etc.

Mrs T most distraught, tonight's episode of Eastenders has been cancelled.
Eldest daughters first football match of the season has been cancelled. She’s not impressed.

I mean it’s sad the queen has died and yes she was an icon. However I am beginning to resent the constant ‘dedicated service’ rhetoric being pushed on every telly channel. Yes I’m sure there was sacrifices made and I’m sure at times it felt like work but mostly the royals have a life of unimaginable wealth and privilege, all at the tax payers expense.

A life time of service is people in the armed forces, firefighters, the police, paramedics, carers, prison staff. Those that turn up everyday trying to make the world a bit better in some way who are underpaid and under appreciated. Those are the people we should know about, those are the lives that equally deserve celebrating. I don’t believe that any life is worth more that another, especially when it is measured in terms of perceived birth right, queen or otherwise.

Well said @Bob, totally agree.

I'm in Norfolk for a week including the Superbikes this weekend and my mate, who's a mechanic has said they may not race. Will Queenie's cronies reimburse me for the time and money lost or even pay for my expenses to come over again when they stage it at another date, I think not.

On second thoughts just realised Sandringham should be vacant for the rescheduled races. Might ask if I can use part of the property I've been paying for for all of my working life 😂

According to a recent article in The New Statesman, the Tussaud’s wax dummy of the queen is the most popular figure the public choose to pose with for a photo.
The second most popular is Darth Vader.

Had to go to Rugeley today. Three shops were closed, two charity shops and a betting shop. Everywhere else was open.
