Kitch & Amo' 2! Stafford Rangers

Neil Kitchin & Nick Amos, a very popular management team left the club at end of the 2017/18 season, 4 years after taking over the 1st team. They said that they had taken the club as far as they could with the finances available, the third tier of non league football, and progression would need a higher player budget!

They had come to the club in dark times, stabilised it, and set it on the road to respectability. Well Boro have now fallen to a level equivalent to the one they took over, (FA changes with non league!) and are in REAL danger of dropping to the lowest level they have ever occupied! The last manager resigned recently, and the Board embarked on the search for a replacement. Many of the fans were sure who they wanted, and the great old club needed! Hours spent in fans wrangling on social media, abuse I'm ashamed to say, but IMHO a brilliant ressult. They are back, Neil & Nick 2, aparently they always said they had unfinished busines! Well let's watch them do it!

Have said enough, there have been some not as delighted as me, but yesterday was a good day, & we won, Ace striker Dan Cockaline came back from injury, what could go wrong?

UTB Up The Boro'!

Boro (Stafford Rangers) have now won 3 in a row! 2.1 away at Kidsgrove! They have now moved out of the relegation positions. Join the increasing number of fans, must have been over 200 on Saturday, and they certainly made themselves heard!

Am optimistic of four wins in a row, with a 4 figure gate for the visit of, relatively close, Nantwich! You know you want to; the Kitch effect has to be experienced to be believed!

Neil kitching has issued an invite on Facebook to Stafford people to come to Saturdays home fixture against Witton Albion, the South Cheshire side. Ranger's recently got a crowd of nearly 900 for another crucial game against relatively near neighbours Natwich. Kitch' would love to see over 1,000 folk at the game to cheers his team on! It would, indeed, be wonderful, if you have been thinking of attending a game for a while, are interested in football, or just curious, why don't you give it a try?

Hope to see you there,......................

.... come on you know you want to!
