Kitchen Wall Sealant (Oil/Sealant etc.).

We had a new kitchen in May, walls plastered and tiles fitted. When the tiles were fitted they needed a little re-adjustment.

I suspect when the kitchen fitter was refitting the tiles, he was wiping his fingers on the (at the time) unpainted walls to remove the grout/silicone. Now several months later we have lots of black finger prints marks appearing through the paint.

It needs repainting. Can anyone recommend a sealant/primer that we can paint on the wall to stop these marks coming through before we repaint?

When I had my kitchen replastered 2 years ago the chap suggested a nice thick layer of PVA glue as a primer!

Worked a treat and nice and cheap!
