This dog has had such a sad life. She was rescued from Cyprus, brought here and fostered. She was finally on her way to a forever home when she bolted from the car at Hilton Park Services. Many people have been frantically looking for Lilah ever since. Today there was a possible sighting in Brewood. If you live there or you know someone who does, please watch for Lilah. Poor thing. I really hope that she is found.

After having a sad life and then being saved, it would be awful if she ended up sad/lonely/mistreated again.

Hi Carole, yes, she's chipped.

It has been gut wrenching reading the Facebook posts. The poor woman organising the searches fostered Lilah when she first came to this country. She sounds completely distraught and really had no clue how to use the press or social media.

None of the people involved are from this area so they've been travelling here, desperately searching. Until today there had been no reported sightings at all, which I thought probably meant the worst. They are really holding on to hope from today's contact in Brewood. It would be incredible if it turns out to be Lilah.

I have just looked at the poster, she has been missing since 28th November...thats a long time to be missing.

I feel so sad for the poor little thing.

They are coming to the area this weekend and are organising what they describe as a 'last push' search for Lilah.

They are asking for help on Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Being a lifelong cat lover, I have to say that I do still care very, very much about any animal in the world and I am very concerned about Lilah, and watching this closely.

I don't know if it is any consolation but my friend's dog was stolen by gypsies and found 3 years later by her chipping. She was in full health.
