What have I missed? Only left the country a few hours ago, will I come back to a new PM?
The country is broke, people are going to be made homeless any time soon, they won't be able to afford to eat and will have to set fire to their clothes in order to stay warm. The prime minister and chancellor have gone missing and it's cold.

Apart from that, everything's good here. I'm going for a change of government or martial law.

This Nigerian failed asylum seeker, pictured here during his period as mayor of Port Laoise, had a weekly programme on Midlands Radio 3, Respecting Difference, about general stuff of interest to recent immigrants.

On one occasion, interviewing a government official on the phone, he asked a very clear and direct question - the chap decided to answer it a bit 'off to one side' - he was allowed to continue that answer until he ran out of steam and was then met with "That was a very good answer, but, what I asked you was..." and he repeated the question verbatim - poor chap, having used all his diversions, was left having to tell the truth.

Knowing people who continue to wave the blue flag and believe it's all in our best interest, because their parents voted Conservative so they have to! They exist!
While we point the finger at Truss and Kwarteng, also remember that Sunak stated in the hustings, Truss' plans would ruin us and c160,000 took part in the vote for her to carry it out.
There's a lot of people with blood on their hands.

The AV referendum showed me that reason and logic were no match for short slogans repeated often. Brexit really took that idea and ran with it.
