So - my map (linked in my signature and updated for the first time in ages) suggests it's an expansion of this scheme from 2013 - https://www.staffordforum.com/xf/in...t-sandon-road-beaconside-road-stafford.12252/ - The smaller, triangle shaped patch of land at the bottom was ear marked for 115 homes.

Spotted this sign as I drove past this morning. It looks like access is to the left of National windscreens.

Yeah that's it, gives access to the rear of all houses up to 174 (the ones with flat roofs) although many sold part of their gardens.
