Nothing in between

Is it genes?

Is it poverty?

When did we almost all give up?

And why

I've always found that a healthy diet, and walking instead of driving, works wonders.

I find a a good intake of high in sugar, high in fat foods, coupled with lots of wine produces the optimum body. I do this, because I want to, and one mans giving up, is another mans not giving a shit what an anonymous stranger thinks on the internet.

Playing Devil's Advocate on this one. My nearest chip shop is revolting. Overly greasy, bitty chips, small fish sold as big fish, slimy batter. We don't have transport. So we order our chips from a better place and they bring them over. I'm sure we aren't the only folk with a similar issue.

I agree, in some instances these services are needed. Not all though for sure, the house opposite regularly gets fast food delivered yet have 2 cars on the drive. Neither, unsurprisingly, are in the super fit category.

We're an odd one, if anything people probably say I look super fit, but I'm far from it. I got fit in lockdown, but the only running I do now is after Eric! I also eat crap compared to my wife, who would fit more into the second category since Eric was born, if our food intake was analysed you'd definitely expect us to be the other way round.

Bitty chips sound interesting and isn't small sold as big fish a dance move from the 90s

The chap I go walking with weighs about 45kg more than me and feels that he doesn't get enough exercise.

I have pointed out that he is getting the same amount of exercise as I would, if I was to carry a sack of coal around all day.
