Leaky Radiator

One of our downstairs radiators has sprung a leak (more of a slight weep really) does anyone on here know of a quick cheap fix?
Cheers

My theory - if you turn off both valves then the weep should eventually stop as the level falls and the air pressure in the radiator above it drops. At that point you could slap a bit of epoxy resin on it. Might be worth a try.

There are putties that are allegedly able to be applied to a wet surface..

I had that problem on a radiator and used some of that putty the goes off on the wet surface (can't remember what its called) was a good cheap quick fix though! I think it's been in place for over 3 years now, so can recommend that it works.

Go to b&q or halfords somewhere like that.

Yes Stoof! That was exactly what it was.

It will save you a small fortune, my radiator leak was at the bottom of a large tall radiator and can obviously withstand the heat and the weight of the water. Plus you will only need a tiny bit, and you can use it for lots of other stuff.
