I'm kinda disappointed, after all that money spent on the square I thought it'd be the perfect opportunity to showcase it with the light switch on, but obviously not.

Looks like we're not even getting fireworks this year

And it's mid week.

The only thing I can find on it is this...

The big light switch on has , with a handful of people going a random evening at the high house , it may as well have been.

For a number of years the owners of the Guildhall Centre paid for the fireworks. At present they could not run to a packet of Sparklers.

The old Record Office on Eastgate Street is being extended to fit the William Salt Library in as well as a Staffordshire History Centre. Work is supposed to have started in January this year.

There is also some gallery space in the the High House.
