Litter Heroes.

It only ever seems to get worse which is why around eighteen months ago I decided to get involved in helping clear it up.

If you can spare some time you can help brighten your neighbourhood (with the sense of achievement that goes with it) and work toward a better environment. Plus it’s actually quite therapeutic wandering around in the fresh air.

I remember at school that it was "uncool" to put your litter in the bin. Not to say that it's just schoolkids, seen people throw stuff out of the car window before now.

There’s a older guy who walks down the backs of Oxford gardens chucking his miniatures or lager cans into the hedge. Instead of the 100+ bins he passes 🙄

There is a massive shortage of bins in Stafford. From eccy Rd McDonald's there isn't a bin until the bus stop up by Tillington Hall Hotel. Asked our pointless cllr and his response was that "even if there were bins no one would use them". Results in a spew of maccy d packaging all up the road.

Get more bins!

From experience that councillor is right. Charnley Park is full of them. And litter. We need to start teaching kids that littering is wrong, odd considering how much school they miss for the ‘climate strike’

Are there any contacts from the NSCG college units on the old Palmbourne, on here?
Sadly the place will be getting a reputation if those in attendance walk through the area, carelessly discarding their rubbish!
A mate has just called me asking me how we report things trough our residents association, so it will be taken higher at some point.
You would think young adults would know better!

A lot of their rubbish blows all the way down the site onto our unit, I have picked up lots of their rubbish.
