Local NCT Group

We're our expecting our first little one in December and we've signed up for the NCT Ante Natal Classes - but elected not to join the organisation at the same time we paid for the classes, because I couldn't quite see if it was worth it.

I know they have a Babywearing group and the next Nearly New Sale is on the 11th of October but I couldn't quite see what else they did in the local area - does anyone have any experience of them?

Congratulations to you both @Wormella and @Goldilox . they used to hold a breastfeeding group at Oddfellowes Hall - I'm not sure if they still do this but it would probably say on the website. I think they also hold a Bumps and Babies session at the Childrens centre. I'm pretty sure you can go to these though whether or not you are a member and the same with the nearly new sales which are advertised on the website so, like you I'm not sure there are any other benefits to joining. Incidentally if you are planning to breastfeed I did my training for breast feeding counselling with the NCT so am always available for advice
