A good pass again just now, although it looked like it might be hazed out - I could only just see one star with averted vision, but the ISS was clearly visible as it cruised over.

Another, possibly better, pass starting a bit after ten past midnight. That one will pass into the shadow over the French coast.
Ok, can you just tell me when I can see Starlink, cos that's what I was looking for 🤣🤣😔🤣😔

You'll struggle to see a Starlink with the naked eye in a populated area. The star I could barely see seems likely to be Arcturus, which is a fairly bright one, but the ISS is about a hundred times brighter than that. A magnitude of around 0 for Arcturus and about -5 for the ISS, depending on the angles of things at the time.

One of those numbers that I remember, 2.51188, the fifth root of 100, the difference between one magnitude and the next one up or down.

Yes, it was a bit cloudy last night and I just got the one star faintly poking through the cloud; the ISS was easy to see through the cloud though.

The weather forecast looks similar for tonight's passes.

The sky tonight, at 11pm.

Looking northwest.

I failed to post this last night, but it could happen again tonight, subject to the prevailing weather.

A full Moon through a thin, high haze of ice crystals, I imagine.

Edit - It actually looked more like this.
