Looking for new friends in Stafford

Hello everyone!

My name is Juan, I am 35 years old male from Spain. I came three months ago to work in Stafford. I am an iOS Developer and I work, for example, improving the iOS Wetherspoon app, so If your order on the The Butler's Bell or in The Picture House and your order doesn't come maybe it is my fault :)

Why would you like to meet me?

- You can improve your Spanish.
- I am a happy person who are always smiling.
- I can say interesting things (sometimes).

I am looking for people with whom to share good moments. I like to drink beers, play board games, watch movies, go for a walk, travel, play sports, and a lot more things.

I am new here and I have not yet been able to meet many people.

+ I like: The Beatles, videogames, chess, card games, board games, football, dogs, good food, orange juice, rock music.
- I don't like: Warm beer.

Dude, if you want to ride MTB on the Chase, and you do, i'm your man.

Seriously, get a bike, give me a PM, let's ride.

@Wormella is a good contact for the entirety of gaming.

Go to Birmingham Art Gallery.

Unless you wear a leotard Stafford is Chips and Netflix

Warm Beer saved a Nation from disease, the children who drank it are today's ancestors

Perhaps get a part time job in a cafe or bar so your charm, good looks and novelty are on show

( spin class if it's lime green )

Hola! Thank you for all your wonderful work on the Wetherspoons App, it's made dining with my toddler a delight since none of us have to go to the bar.

Check out the Stafford Board Game Bash - https://www.facebook.com/groups/324544261016528/ - I think they meet every Sunday in the The Shrewsbury Arms and they are full of very lovely people.

There's also a Chess Club - https://www.facebook.com/staffordchessclub/ and I think there's a chess club at the library on Saturdays, but I'm not sure abut that - I'd go and ask.

There's also a Staffordshire Walkers group that seems fairly local and seem to do many cinema trips too - http://www.staffs-walkers.org.uk/

Hope that helps

Thanks for your replies.
@Withnail, Thank you very much, but I don't have mountain bike. Also the weather is too cold. I left football for that. I need more winter clothes :)
@Wormella Thank you very mucho. I will check the Chess club, but I am not a very good player.
If there is some gamming event, please notice me about it. Probably I will be interested. I had in the past one of the biggest Spanish blogs of games and I went to the presentation of the games of Electronic Arts, Microsoft, Sony, etc. (Free food and free games :) before they are in the stores).
@Gramaisc Ok, thanks. I will check. I think that they play to D&D but in that kind of games the language is important and for me sometimes is difficult to understand a vocabulary for one concrete topic.

@Studio-tan Great Spanish! :)

Also, if someone whant to drink a beer or something, I have good conversation and I could say interesting things, but maybe in a simple way. I can't use double senses or ironi in English yet! :P

And if someone is interested in language interchanges, I need to improve my English and you can improve your Spanish.

Yeah, I think it is mostly 'wargame'-type stuff, but it could be worth asking in the shop, if you're passing.
