They get the collars off as well as the tags ....In the picture Sophie is wearing the last collar from a job lot of about 20 that I bought in the post-Christmas Sainsbury sale for 20p each....I hoped that the 2 bells might stop them catching birds/mice/rats etc....no such luck!

Have you got her back now @littleme and is she ok?
She's finally home @staffordjas but its not good.

She had been hit by a car & her pelvis is broken in lots of places, the vet can't fix her pelvis :( They did xrays this afternoon to see if she should be pts, but the vet says she has a 50/50 chance of recovering - so it is best to bring her home.

She was taken to the vets last Thursday, the day after she disappeared, & she hadn't eaten, drank or poo'd since then, othe vet said that if she didn't eat in the next 2 days she would have to be put down......but as soon as we got her home she ate Dreamies & drank water - so that's really good. :)

She's now confined to the crate again & we just have to wait...

Everyone please keep your fingers crossed for her.....

So sorry @littleme

If her pelvis has broken then she must be in pain.

Although your vet said that they cant fix it I urge you to try try Eddie Straiton in Penkridge.

They have an animal hospital there and they can do wonders on animals that other vets have given up on.

Do you have pet insurance?

Good news that she ate and drank something when she got back home though.

Come on little Sophie you can do it, if she's eating with you that's a good sign she has a lot of will
