Well done @littleme . So glad you looked after her and got her reunited :)
Awww poor little thing had been missing for 3 days....she lives at Izzac Walton close, so no idea how she managed to get as far as Stone Rd beling as she can't see, she must have been terrified.

I was amazed by people's offers of help on Facebook. Truly lovely people offering food, carriers & homes for her.

She was a lovely little girl, loved her cuddles , and I'll miss her.

Time for another cat then??????
Not on your Nellie! This house has never smelt so good. No cat pee stink hitting your nose as you walk in the front door. No 'deposits' on the front mat. I can leave sumat on the side without a cat trying eat it.
No cuddles when you're upset, no-one purring on your pillow of a night time.
No more cats here.

Donnachie & Townley charged us for some treatment & neutering , chipping etc. Think we got charged a bit cheaper as we had a bit of money left from what some of us had chipped in & we got a voucher from cats protection towards neutering. The extra was used to go towards treating another stray road casualty rushed in that day.
Hope he's pulled through the night @littleme

A lovely cat found its way through my cat flap last year, trip to the vets revealed no chip but lots of fleas / ticks.

Payed a small fortune for a full cat MOT and worming - only for the owner to come forward on Facebook the next day...

Lady didn't reimburse me a penny - I was a bit salty...

However! It all came right in the end as she'd just had a litter of kittens!

That's how we got Squeeky!!

The RSPCA gave us a log number for her, so we could get free treatment for her today if she was injured.....they specified it would be basic treatment.....but the carer, last night, said I should take her, but not leave her there, and to bring her home. He was so worried they would just PTS, he was convinced we could look after her....her owners said the vet had said to pts last time she went, a few weeks ago, as she's 20 & blind, but as the owner said, she manages in the house & isn't in pain , eats well and has no other problems apart from the cyst, so no. She could walk/wobble, climb and jump, she wasn't afraid of anything, and was sooo very loving....

I would have liked to take Rupert our stray in , but he was scared stiff of hubby for some reason. So if I had him inside the house he'd panic like mad when hubby came back home from work and go ballistic trying to get through the door.

Son and girlfriend are talking about getting an indoor cat when she moves in with him in the summer . (Doesn't want an outdoor one as would be worried sick about it being knocked over, going missing or becoming one of the many foxes meals.)
I'm going to have to go along to the 'choosing' so that I know that the new addition likes me, as guess who's offered to look after it if they're both working the same shift or on holiday. :D

Our cats did not like our visitor....pheobe especially hated her. We had to keep her in the downstairs loo untill they were out of the way upstairs, no idea why, she was no trouble at all....no threat to them, couldn't see and just wanted cuddles. Hope you get to help them choose a kissycat

If I go along with them I won't tell hubby.....if he's not there I'm likely to be coming home with a new addition (or 2 or 3...) of our own as well . 😂

I'm still working on hubby on the rescue dog front 😉... it's dog walking country around here, so many lovely walks and so many pooches to make a fuss of on every walk. Even seen a cat being walked on a lead. :)

Yes, I miss having a dog too, but unrealistic still as were all at work all the time & wouldn't be happy not giving the walks doggys deserve.

That is why we won't be having another cat. Both of us are working, me on almost permanent nights and youngest hopefully starting on nights next month. It wouldn't be fair to a cat/kitten to be alone all night while we're working and then be on its own for the majority of the day while we're sleeping.
I would love another, but it just wouldn't be fair ...........
