Loud bangs.

Just gone to walk my dog over Wildwood park and a huge bang went off. I keep complaining to Stafford environmental health but they seem to be ignoring me after initially responding to me. It has been badly set up bird scarers but given the fields seem to be all green shoots now I can't think it is those now,

MOD target practice? shotguns?

They scare my dog and he starts noticeably shaking. Made it impossible to get him to walk from home, so I'm driving everywhere which is a pain as lifting a 36kg dog into the car is doing my back in and fuel is expensive.

I put this on another thread a few weeks ago, thinking it was odd that the bang was so loud. The responses were predictable - "bird scarers!" but I think you have to witness them to realise why people would question that. I was at the crem twice in three weeks and the second visit was noticeably more frequent and louder then the first.

They are "bird scarers". You could see the orange gas canisters in the fields off Tixall Road before the crops grew around them.
