Although we have been to the Dog and Doublet before, we have never been for Sunday Lunch.
Wow, my quest for the perfect Sunday lunch is complete.
For starters the others had asparagus soup and I had smoked salmon.....all were perfect.
For mains, I had the roast beef......the yorkshire pudding was the best I have tasted.
The others had gammon and salmon which they also said was delicious.
Lovely polite and attentive staff, super table by the window.
The only very small gripe was a very sticky table but everything else was great so we let that pass, and to be fair they cleaned that table very quickly so that we could have it.
We will be back soon for another visit.
