Enjoying a drop of red.
Currently in the RV eating an egg and cress sandwich, within the confines of my place of work.

I really enjoyed the boat house bar and the mess room. I'd recommend checking them out.

Been in the Boathouse bar yesterday and today. The Messroom doesn't seem to be open at the moment.

Other good pubs in Skipton we've been to are the Beer Engine, the Royal Shepherd, the Narrow Boat, Yorkshire Rose and the Woolly Sheep.

We didn't eat out today but the food in the Narrow Boat and the Woolly Sheep looked really nice.

I've been to the Engine Room and Wooly Sheep. I need a return trip very soon to try all the pubs that I've not yet sampled.

Liquid lunch, perhaps? :)

And I might add that I did mention that I was in a pub after he having just had lunch but that just so happened to be a pub as well :)

Also all of the other pubs I mentioned all served lunch of both the solid and liquid varieties.

Lunch was never this good in the 70s you know :)
