Market Square paving.

If that's the case and we are left with them, couldn't they just take some for a less prominent place , like near the church, or just behind Gregg's , so we've got a nice looking square ?

On the other hand , maybe they're just letting the whole area go to hell, while they draw up plans to give the whole square a facelift.

No point replacing the lights twice , if they're going to do up the whole area.... Life in hope :p

You mean, put in an area with a raised bed, pop a few plants in it so we have some flowers in the summer, instead of boring flag stones?
Bring in a few benches, so when this awful virus has, hopefully, gone away, people can sit and socialise, buy a cup of tea or coffee from a town centre Cafe? Or is that asking too much?

I see sky news are using the market square in their images today. Shame you can’t see the crazy paving.

Surely it's costing a small fortune organising them to keep coming out every few months.

Eventually we're going to be left with just a few slabs and people are going to be like why's there this random slab here ?!
