Market Square paving.

Enjoying a drop of red.
What about the Midland Red bus station, Taylors' and Jenkinsons' Cake shops?

They need to do it properly or it ain't worth doing 😂😂😂
Jenkinsons Deli and self service restaurant should definitely make a comeback. But then I think the Golden Egg would make a welcome return to Wolverhampton.

There was a Golden Egg just up Gaolgate Street, just before the alleyway.

How long will it last though, the "new paving / road around Riverside, / the Odeon / picture house", is already knackered.

Yes. I wanted one of Charles Hawtrey looking up at the glass ceiling/pavement, but wasn't able.

When I went to pick up my dog Ginny from near Slough in August I drove past the butchers shop (now something else) from Carry on Behind. I remember thinking it looked familiar as I went by.

Reminder that the developers carrying out the renovation of the Market Sq, Stafford are in town tomorrow (Wed 7 Dec) to talk to residents and businesses about the work.

The drop drop-in session in the 'Square' is between 11am and 2pm.

They've been taking about this for ages. Surely it's time they actually got on with it?

Or is there a lot of money to be made by taking?

The highways part will be done first then Market Square (the paving is on a 20 week turnaround so will be done last). A 35 week time scale ... so August!
Planting one new tree, two more power points, mono block paving on the 'road' parts and straightened, in Market Square kellen mixed slabs and detailing granite kerbs
The new seating by No 3 is moveable but heavy and by the trees at HSBC the seating isn't movable
Telephone boxes staying but renovated and post box moving over
Only 2/3 bollards by Santander removing.
GPO box moving back nearer Barclays bank

Surprised the telephone boxes are staying, especially as they seem to want space for events.
