If that!!! I can't believe that they haven't got financial penalties for not making any progress. It does seem to be going at a shockingly slow pace, it's like 5 bricks a week ?
Which is all very nice but when it's wet or icy it's going to be a feckin deathtrap just like the previous mess wasWork has started to fill in the paving this week, I think now the electrics etc that were being redone pace has started to pick up.
that said, the colours have surprised me a little. They're an interesting palette, a lot brighter than the concept images suggested.

That actually looks quite pleasant!
Two million quid later, and we get my nans old patio circa 1979.
Maybe they thought our esteemed member was due a visit after her appearance in the commons & (more importantly) on BBC Midlands. The seeming increase in work rate, together with the numbers of plod driving around the town centre yesterday afternoon would indicate that Lorraine Conkey has truly managed to put the wind up someone.
Quite right too.
Your nan has great taste! I haven't seen any 70's patios like that. Two million quid later, and we get my nans old patio circa 1979.
I agree, it looks good, it will certainly brighten the area up when it is completed in 2033. But I suppose the current situation with cracked paving and chewing gum & bird muck all over it provides some much-needed grip in the winter. It does look quite nice but in icy weather the word deathtrap comes to mind
